7-year-old kidnapped Kisumu boy found
The parents of 7-year-old Kisumu boy AKil Malik who went missing since Sunday, October 20, can now rest easy after the boy was found safe in Homa Bay.
Akil was reported missing on Sunday noon at their home in Kenya Re estate Kisumu county.
The minor was found bt Homa Bay police officer on Wednesday at a home in Nyandiwa Suba South constituency. Homa Bay DCI boss Daniel Wachira confirmed.
“They reported to police after seeing a strange boy at the said home. The boy is currently at Magunga police station after police picked him,” Wachira said.
According to the police, Akil was allegedly kidnapped by a woman, whom the police have so far apprehended before she is taken to court.
“We’re putting arrangements to ferry the minor to Kisumu and reunite with his parents,” he added.
