Uhuru appoints Gershom Otachi as new National Land Commission chairperson
President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially appointed city lawyer Gershom Otachi chairman of the National Land Commission.
Otachi was appointed with 8 other commissioners after they were all approved by the National Assembly prior to a vetting process.
The appointments were gazetted 48 hours after their names were approved by parliament.
Otachi will serve as the National Land Commission chairman for a six-year nonrenewable term.
