Wilson Sossion to remain KNUT SG and nominated MP — Court rules
Embattled Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary-General Wilson Sossion has had the last laugh after the Labour Court ruled in his favour.
On Friday, the Labour Court allowed the no-nonsense unionist to retain two positions at KNUT as SG and in parliament as nominated MP.
In her ruling, Justice Maureen Onyango said there was nothing unconstitutional about Sossion holding the two offices.
The petitioners had sought to have him removed from the position at Knut position because he is currently holding a full-time State office.
