Gachagua Storms Mt. Kenya Festival, Captivates Excited Crowd

Rigathi Gachagua’s unexpected appearance at a local music concert has sparked heated discussions about his political influence in the region.

Mr. Gachagua (Riggy G) was recently removed from his deputy presidential position in a dramatic impeachment process at Parliament Buildings in Nairobi.

His impeachment became a public spectacle, with Kenyans watching in shock as the popularly elected deputy president was kicked out of office like a mere appointee.

Riggy G retreated to his home region of Mount. Kenya where he is enjoying close connection with residents in church events and local Barazas.

His latest appearance at the music concert has shown his strong command of local politics as numerous youths cheered him in approval.

Clad in a classic Godfather hat associated with wise community elders, Gachagua led other leaders to the stage.

Former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu and Senator John Methu of Nyandarua were among the regional leaders in Gachagua’s company.

On stage, Gachagua waved and advanced towards the crowd in a bid to address them. The Mt. Kenya strongman was immediately blocked by the artists causing a standoff.

A cheerful Gachagua stepped aside as his allies negotiated for a chance to speak to the crowd. The revelers, hearing the commotion from below the stage, insisted that he address them.

“No Gachagua, No event!”  and “Ruto Must Go!” chants filled the stadium as youth demanded the DP.

After multiple failed attempts, Riggy G exited and interacted with supporters from the sidelines of the venue.

Kenyans were left in surprise at how the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua drew large crowds away from the music concert.
