Starehe MP Charles ‘Jaguar’ Kanyi’s has become an online sensation once again after details of his private motion seeking to reduce the retirement age of civil servants became public.
The youthful musician-cum politician who is enjoying his debut in the National Assembly has stated that if passed the motion will help empower the youths in the public service.
Here are three things we have gathered so far from the motion
- The motion seeks to reduce the retirement age from 60 years to 50 years
2. If the motion sails through 25,000 civil servants risk losing their jobs.
3. The motion may create serious crisis in pensions and legal ramifications will be too high.
